Utilization of Video-Based Laboratory (VBL) Using Tracker for Analysis of Object Motion on the Laboratory-Scaled Mini Roller Coaster a) Departement of Physics Education, University of Siliwangi Abstract The use of teaching aids in learning can provide direct learning experiences to students so that learning becomes more meaningful. Students not only observe physical phenomena that occur but also get physical data from these phenomena. The observed physical phenomena often take place very quickly so it is not possible to record data manually. Therefore, a method is needed to facilitate data recording and analysis. One method that can be used is a Video-Based Laboratory (VBL) using a Tracker. This method allows for the analysis of the objects contained in a video and displays the data in the form of graphs and tables. This study aims to analyze the motion of objects using Tracker Video Analysis on a mini roller coaster. The data was obtained in the form of a video of a solid ball-shaped object with a mass of 8.6 grams moving along the track of a roller coaster. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen the amount of potential energy, kinetic energy, dynamics of motion, conservation of energy, and centripetal force experienced by objects.
