Bibliometric Review of Term Computational Thinking and Mathematics Education Research Scopus Database, 2014 to 2022

Abstract

The In recent years, computational thinking has grown essential in many countries of the world. In this study, bibliometric analysis was used to locate scientific results with the phrases ^Computational Thinking^ and ^Mathematical Education^ around the world, which were indexed in the Scopus database for the period 2014-2022. A total of 60 papers were obtained from the Scopus database for analysis. Our key findings reveal that research trends in this domain have showed a substantial growth in scientific productivity in the last three years. This paper finds that contemporary research on Computational Thinking and Mathematics Education is related to programming, constructionism, and STEM.
