STUDENTS^ PERCEPTIONS OF THE CONTAINING RELIGIOUS VALUES IN THE RESPIRATION SYSTEM TEACHING MATERIALS 1) Biology Education, School of Postgraduates, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung, Indonesia Abstract Learning that has a religious values has an important role in preparing a generation of higher quality, who masters science and technology with good morals. This study aims to analyze students^ perceptions of biology teaching materials on respiratory system materials with containing religious values. This study compares students^ perceptions of teaching materials that have been used with teaching materials internalized with Islamic values. The perceptions of the Islamic values in this study was measured by analyzing the motivation, use, and beliefs of respiratory system teaching materials that containing religious values. This type of research is ex post facto research by collecting data directly to respondents through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique was done by descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted on 50 eleventh class students. The results showed that the number of students in the category of ^highly need of teaching materials with Islamic internalization^ was 36 people (72%), 13 people are in the ^needed^ category (26%), 1 person in the ^slightly needed^ category (2%) and no one has the view that teaching material with containing religious is ^not needed^ or even unnecessary .
