Identification of Strengthening Student Learning Involvement through the STEM Approach in Civic Education Learning in the New Normal Era 1,3,4, Indonesian Education University Abstract . The paper aims to identify the strengthening of student learning engagement through the STEM approach in learning citizenship education in the New Normal era at the Indonesian Education University and STKIP Pasundan, Cimahi. This study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research procedures including: 1) Preparation for the use of the STEM approach in the New Normalization Era of Citizenship Education Learning, 2) the implementation of the STEM approach in the New Normalization Era of Citizenship Education Learning, 3) Reflections on the implementation of the STEM approach in Civic Education Learning The New Normal Era at the Indonesian University of Education and STKIP Pasundan, Cimahi. The results showed that Strengthening Student Learning Involvement through the STEM Approach in Citizenship Education Learning underscores that students have the awareness to learn, experience and directly experience themselves. Learning is carried out concretely, developing cooperative attitudes in students. In addition, Identification of Strengthening Student Learning Involvement is activities in the form of reading, viewing pictures, observing experiments, demonstrations, as much as 30%, oral activities such as expressing opinions, connecting an event and asking questions and giving suggestions as much as 50%, writing activities such as writing. reports, making outlines or summaries, and doing tests as much as 20%. The STEM Approach in Strengthening Student Learning Involvement through the STEM Approach in the New Normal Era at the University of Education Indonesia and STKIP Pasundan, Cimahi integrated into the Citizenship Education Learning curriculum can increase Student Learning Involvement.
