Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a problem based learning model using LKPD assisted by phet simulation on student learning outcomes in straight motion material in Class X 101 Jakarta Senior High School in the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest. The population in this study were all students of class X 101 Jakarta Senior High School. And the samples taken were X IPA 1 as the control class and X IPA 2 as the experimental class. The method taught is problem based learning for the experimental class and conventional methods for the control class. This research data is in the form of learning outcomes. The average value of the pretest results for the control class was 44.85 and for the experimental class was 45.15. And the average value of the posttest control class is 62.12 while for the experimental class is 60.61. So from the results of this study there is no effect of problem based learning on student learning outcomes.
