Abstract

In educational reforming, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) is going in worldwide. The population in this research is 23 students in Physics Education Study Program, IAIN Palangka Raya. One of the learning outcomes of Physics Education Study Program is educator which is active to produce graduates with creativity and innovation. But, before getting approach, students should have constructive perspective in STEAM Application for properly integrating the arts with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This research aim to describe student^s perspective about STEAM application to Physics Measurement Equipment projects. This qualitative-quantitative descriptive research used Likert Scale with 5 points in survey to student^s perspective about STEAM Application to physics measurement equipment projects. According to the results of the Likert scale survey, the five projects described for the science component (Mean= 4.417, SD = 0.066), for the technology component (Mean = 4.217, SD = 0.303), for the engineering component (Mean = 4.191, SD = 0.09), for the arts component (Mean = 4.035, SD = 0.3142), and for the mathematics component (Mean = 4.478, SD = 0.151). In conclusion, five projects strongly approved as constructive project with STEAM application.
