Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze research trends in mathematics learning with a STEM approach in Indonesia in the last 5 years based on articles published in national journals. 35 articles were collected for analysis using the Paper Classification Form (PCF) instrument. The results of the analysis show the number of Research Focuses starting from Learning Strategies (42.85%), followed by Evaluation and Assessment (17.14%), Learning Tools (11.42%), and Teaching Materials and Learning Media with the same number of trends (8.57% ). The research method obtained qualitative methods (37.14%), quantitative methods (25.71%), mixed methods (11.43%), and R&D (25.71%). The most common pattern of integration found is STEM-PjBL (22.86%), and contextual learning (STEM-Contextual learning) (11.43%) regulates the trend of STEM integration patterns in Indonesia in the last 5 years. Learning Outcomes (22.85%) and Creative Thinking Skills (28.57%) are the dominant dependent variables related to STEM learning and followed by other variables, namely Learning Activities (11.43%) and Learning Motivation (5.71%) which also received sufficient attention. from researchers. Thus, there needs to be a variety of other potential STEM studies.
