ANALYSIS OF NUMBER OF VEHICLE GROWTH ON TRAFFIC VOLUME ON JALAN RAYA CAGAK

Abstract

Jalan Raya Cagak is a provincial route and it is one of the roads leading to Bandung , Subang, and Sumedang. There are several factors that lead to an increase in the number of vehicles, namely population growth, tourists, and GRDP. Because of that, it causes some transportation problems, and one of those is congestion. This study aims to model the generation of the number of vehicles on the traffic volume on Jalan Raya Cagak in 2050. The method used in this research is simple and multiple regression, and the result of growth in the number of vehicles in 2050 is 1,296,491 vehicles, and to analyze traffic volume growth on Jalan Raya Cagak, this research use geometric method and the result of traffic volume growth in 2050 is 5892 vehicles/hour.
