The use of augmented reality in improving mathematical logic concepts in sign language learning

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the ability of mathematical logic concepts in learning Indonesian using sign language for prospective teacher students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University through augmented reality learning media. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. The instrument used in this research is a mathematical concept ability test on logic material, in 10 essay tests and tested on 30 student-teacher candidates at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The average N-gain result for prospective teacher students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is 0.67 in the medium category. The conclusion is that the ability of mathematical logic concepts by using augmented reality media on student-teacher candidates at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is in the moderate category of 67%. Augmented reality learning media can be effective as learning aids on mathematical logic concepts.
