The Android Based ASAM.ID Application as a Learning Media for Environmental Literacy

Abstract

Environmentally friendly technology was created to facilitate human life without the need to damage or have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. This paper wants to reveal the process of developing an android application based on waste management as a medium for learning environmental literacy. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). The results of this study reveal a flow chart for the development of an android application for waste management, including video of waste management transactions, information on waste management into renewable energy, discussions of energy literacy, as well as expert validation results regarding the feasibility of the application. This study concludes that in terms of content and packaging, this application is suitable for use as a medium of learning at the secondary school level.
