IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON ACTIVE LIVING BEHAVIOR, LEARNING MOTIVATION AND HEALTH COMPLAINTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN WEST JAVA 1 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract The purpose of the study was to analyze the direct impact of the covid-19 pandemic on active living behavior, learning motivation and health complaints of elementary school students throughout West Java. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The participants were elementary school students throughout West Java province with a total of 1867 students. The instrument used was a physical activity questionnaire for children (PAQ-C), motivation using a questionnaire, and students^ health complaints using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 24. Conclusion The level of active life behavior of students before the covid-19 pandemic was in the medium category and the level of active behavior of students during the covid-19 pandemic was in the low category. This data shows that the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the decline in students^ active living behavior from the moderate category to the low category. The level of student motivation shows that intrinsic motivation has decreased by one level during the COVID-19 pandemic from low to very low category, while extrinsic motivation has increased by one level from very low to low category.
