Abstract

The Korean Independence Movement was a socio-political movement of the people of the Korean peninsula for their restoration and independence, and was an important part of the progressive movement of the wider Asian, African and Latin American people for national liberation. This paper uses the documentary method as the main research method to explore the artistic and sporting activities of Koreans in China during this period. During the independence movement, Korean patriots in China engaged in a range of artistic and sporting activities, including literary composition, song, film and drama creation, school sports and athletic competitions, to express their patriotic feelings, promote the idea of national salvation, promote the national spirit and inspire their fellow countrymen. These activities contributed to the movement of the Korean people for national liberation, and the resonance of the artistic and sporting activities of the Chinese and Korean people in the cause of national liberation deepened the friendship between the two peoples.
