The Use of Green Technology in Learning for Sustainable Development at Higher Education Institutions a) SDIT Aliya, Jalan Gardu Raya, RT.03/RW.11, Kelurahan Bubulak, Kecamatan Bogor Barat, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat, Indonesia 16115 Abstract This research explores using green technology in learning for sustainable development at high school institutions. This literature review draws from relevant sources and analyzes them according to the research needs. In addressing the challenges of the global environment, school curricula play a crucial role in shaping awareness and sustainable actions among students. Green technology identifies as an effective tool to achieve these goals. The basic concepts of green technology in education, including principles related to energy efficiency, environmental impact reduction, and increased student awareness and participation, will be explained. However, challenges and barriers to adopting green technology in learning exist, such as limited resources and budgets and the need for training and awareness among teachers and staff. It is essential to integrate green technology into school policies and curricula and involve relevant stakeholders to enhance the use of green technology in learning. In conclusion, using green technology in education, particularly in higher education institutions, can significantly shape students sustainable attitudes and actions. In other words, using green technology in learning is urgently necessary to achieve sustainable development in higher education institutions.
