Againts the Distractions: An Overview of Graduate Students Attention

Abstract

Attention is the ability to focus attention and concentrate on a particular stimulus. In adults, mindfulness plays a fundamental role in many aspects of everyday life, such as work performance, social interactions and driving safety. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this article is to determine attentional abilities in adulthood. The subjects of this study were three female graduate students with an age range of 23-37 years. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that postgraduate students have good attention skills by doing selective attention, divided attention, and also continuous attention.
