Abstract

Bio-industrial agriculture is a strategic activity and a challenge to realize its sustainability in this globalization era current. Its development is holistic and integrated, one of which is through a zero waste-based plant-livestock integration system (SITT) in supporting the bio-industrial agriculture sustainability. With a qualitative descriptive method, this paper aims to comprehensively describe the livestock waste various uses to support waste value added and increase the farmers income and is enriched by a review of various studies and related literature. The concept, implementation and bio-industrial agriculture development through the waste utilization into biogas is closely related to optimizing the potential production various factors development. Its utilization is also as a processed waste product, feed, fertilizer that has added value. It is indicated that the agriculture sustainable development concept in the livestock crop integration system based on zero waste management and its products processed in the bio-industry agriculture principles is integrated with the socio-economic agriculture environment aspects and the local resources. It is necessary to carry out improvement monitoring, evaluation and impartial assistance, through the agricultural human competence resources increasing in use of the technological innovations. Achievement of energy savings/fuel costs, employment, farmers increased income, and use through the rural economy biogas.
