Biotechnology Engineering of Hydroponic Vertical Farming in Project Based- STEM Learning for Enhancing Creativity of 10th Grader Pakuan Bogor University Abstract Building student creativity is something that must be done to prepare young generation to face global changes. Research has been conducted to examine how student creativity can be trained through learning on the theme of biotechnology engineering in the context of vertical hydroponic farming. Learning is carried out in grade 10 of a school in Sukabumi City using the PjBL-STEM model. the quasi-experimental method with a pre-post-test design is used by using two classes at the same grade as the experimental class and control class. The experimental class was treated with the PjBL-STEM learning, meanwhile the control class was used PjBL. For the learning model that is being implemented for the first time in the science class, PjBL-STEM is effective in improving both creative thinking skills and students^ creative abilities. The prominent creative thinking skills are shown in flexibility and originality indicators. The research concludes that PjBL-STEM directed student to the steps of inquiry, engineering design, production processes as well as communication much better than the PjBL.
