Abstract

In the last decade, environmental issues have become a concern for business and HR practitioners. The research was conducted at a five-star hotel in Semarang, Central Java. This study examines and analyzes the influence of Green HRM practices and Green Empowerment on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Environment (OCBE) with Green Knowledge Sharing as intervening variable. The research was carried out using a survey with using the census method and took all employees as respondents, with a response rate of 88.3%. Data analysis used structural equation modeling of partial least squares with WrapPLs software. The results of the study indicate that there is a full mediating role of Green Knowledge Sharing on the influence of Green HRM practices on OCBE. Thus that the practice of Green HRM will have an impact on OCBE if the company shares Green knowledge with employees through training and others, and encourages sharing among them about environmental awareness.
