Abstract

The reliability of Deep Learning (DL) technology in processing all types of data makes this technology widely used in various fields, including education. This article discusses the use of DL in the education sector. The research method in this review is the prism method using Scopus data. The results show that DL is widely used for educational purposes. Some of them are used as learning media that assist students in understanding learning and mastering competencies according to their level. In addition, DL is also used as a system for predicting student achievement and performance, classifying learning content, recognizing patterns of expression or gestures to assess student interactions during learning, and making false/true decisions. The utilization of DL can finally increase the quality of education.
