Changes that occurred due to reform 4.0, this forced every business actor to consume digital technology to facilitate the application of these business activities. Companies or organizations today must get used to using digital technology, especially employees who carry out work activities every day. As a form of use of this technology is the use of smartphones, where its use helps very much in terms of communicating faster and well managed. Another thing that makes the importance of using technology in the current 4.0 era with technology is expected to be more effective and efficient employee work activities so that what the company wants can be achieved as expected, such as achieving better employee performance which certainly affects the compensation that the company will give to employees. What makes this research interesting, is that there is still a lack of application of digital technology as a tool that helps business performance.
