Abstract

Abstract. Instilling character values for a person is very necessary to foster responsibility for the individual himself. Character cultivation can be grown through education or organizational activities that form it, one of which is a cooperative organization for its members. Character will be formed if done by practicing regularly and repeatedly so that it becomes a habit. These characters are needed as capital in forming entrepreneurial character. This study aims to determine character values through entrepreneurial activities in members of the Indonesian Institute of Education student cooperatives. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods of interviews, observation, and documentation with triangulation as a data analysis technique. It can be concluded that the results of the study show that character indicators can be grown through fostering entrepreneurial character values, namely: (1) empowering positive, (2) employing, (3) leadership, (4) independence, and (5) being able to overcome problems , (6) communicative, (7) creative, (8) hard work, (9) dare to take risks, (10) patient, (11) diligent.
