Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning, Strategy for Corporate Performance by mediating Supply Chain Management in automotive spare parts companies

Abstract

The development of science and technology greatly affects the progress of the company. The most successful companies are those that utilize investments in web-based technology by implementing e-business supported by existing infrastructure based on well-functioning enterprise resource planning. Outomotive business methods allow connecting all information, internal and external activities of the company. Companies are trying to implement one way of using information systems based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based information systems and strategies. Therefore, this research will raise the issue of how the effect of ERP implementation on SCM and Company Performance and how policy suggestions are needed. This type of research is causal associative, using SEM-AMOS analysis method. The data used is primary data obtained through a questionnaire prepared with closed questions using a semantic differential scale. The results showed that Enterprise Resource Planning has a positive effect on Supply Chain Management. Strategy has a positive effect on Supply Chain Management. Supply Chain Management has a positive effect on Company Performance. Enterprise Resource Planning has a positive effect on Company Performance, but the indirect effect on Company Performance through Supply Chain Management becomes stronger. Supply Chain Management is a perfect mediating variable for the influence of Enterprise Resource Planning and Strategy on Company Performance. Companies need to strengthen corporate culture where trust0and commitment are0the main capital of the company to consumers.
