Abstract

Tourism is one of the important sectors in sustainable development. In an effort to increase public awareness about sustainable tourism activities, sustainable tourism education is needed. Sustainable Tourism Education teaches us to manage The Resources in an effort to meet economic, social and aesthetic needs by paying attention to the sustainability of local culture, natural habitats, biodiversity and other important support systems. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how Sustainable Tourism Education can be implemented at the Tourism-based Vocational High School (SMK) level. The existence of Sustainable Tourism Education is expected to create a sustainable tourism industry in the future. This study uses qualitative research, the results of the research are expected to be used by various parties, especially stakeholders to work together to create a sustainable tourism industry.
