Abstract
The problem that the authors propose in this study is whether there is a
relationship between psychological factors and the results of movement difficulties on athlete achievement. In achieving achievement, not only physical factors, techniques, tactics, but also psychological factors that influence it. The better the psychological factors of an athlete in competing, the maximum results will be obtained. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between psychological factors and the results of movement difficulties on athlete achievement. The method used is descriptive method. The population and sample in this study were 6 female artistic gymnastics athletes from the Indonesian Gymnastics Association, Bandung City. The sampling technique in this study is Total Sampling. The research instrument for collecting psychological data is in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire and the difficulty movement research instrument in the form of a guide from the Code Of Points for Women^s Artistic Gymnastics 2017-2020 with Short Elmen which has been determined by the International Gymnastics Federation. Based on the results of data analysis processing shows that there is a positive relationship between psychological factors and the results of Movement Difficulty on athlete achievement of 0.264. However, the significance value is 0.614 > 0.05 which means Ho is accepted, so it can be concluded that. There is no significant relationship between psychological factors and the results of movement difficulties on athlete achievement. The coefficient of determination which shows the magnitude of the contribution of psychological factors to the results of movement difficulties on athlete achievement is 6.96%
