Abstract

Futsal players rely heavily on cardiorespiratory endurance. A futsal player is required to play quickly and effectively for a long time. Not only when running, endurance is also important in dribbling techniques when a player must quickly bring the ball into the opponent^s goal. This study aims to determine the effect of the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) method with an elevation training mask on increasing the cardiorespiratory endurance of futsal. The method used in this study is an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Postest design. This study uses a population of UPI Men^s Futsal UKM members. The sample used was 10 people using a total sampling technique based on the researcher^s criteria. Data was taken using an instrument to measure the level of endurance, namely the bleep test. The data obtained were processed using SPSS version 23 by means of descriptive statistical analysis, data normality test and hypothesis testing. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant effect of the high intensity interval training method using an elevation training mask on increasing cardiorespiratory endurance. The high intensity interval training method using an elevation training mask affects the increase in cardiorespiratory endurance
