DEVELOPMENT OF MANIPULATIVE BASIC MOVEMENT TEST BASED ARTICULATE STORYLINE APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS AT DIAN AGUNG KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL IN MALANG CITY

Abstract

Purpose of this research and development to develop basic manipulative movement test instrument for children aged 5-6 years that meets criteria for good test instrument, namely valid, reliable and objective, packaged the form of articulate storyline application make it easier for early childhood education teachers to understand test instrument to be used. Model research and development uses procedural model with research and development approach from Borg & Gall, 1983. The method commonly used in development research totaling 10 steps including: (1) needs analysis- (2) data collection- (3) product design- (4) design validation- (5) design revisions- (6) small group trials all students aged 5-6 years at Dian Agung Kindergarten with total of 17 students- (7) product revisions- (8) large group trials all students aged 5-6 years from three kindergarten schools in Malang totaling 71 students- (9) product revisions- (10) final product. Results the small group product trials obtained overall average result 90% with very valid criteria. Analysis level validity obtained each test instrument included in the valid category. Analysis the level reliability obtaining each test instrument included the reliable category. Analysis the level objectivity for the throwing test obtained acceptable criteria results, and other three instruments obtained good criteria results. Then for acquisition large group trials, average result of 97% obtained with very valid criteria. Analysis level of validity obtained each test instrument included the valid category. Analysis level reliability obtaining each test instrument included the reliable category. Analysis level objectivity the throwing and kicking tests included the good criteria, and catching and dribble ball tests were included the acceptable criteria. Based the results of these data, it can be concluded that product developing basic manipulative movement test instrument based the articulate storyline application feasible to use assessment tool that has been proven valid, reliable and objective.
