Abstract
In the 21st century, teachers and parents encounter various kinds of life challenges indicated by the rapid development of science and technology, the complexity of issues related to material and spiritual well-being, as well as the complexity of social changes. Likewise character education, nowadays, character education is so necessary for early childhood in the 21st century because children’s cognitive abilities are not sufficient for their future provisions. Character education in early childhood is often disregarded so that the children grow up to be a bad person. Based on the preceding explanation, this study was focused on learning models that teachers and parents could use in teaching character education for early childhood in the 21st century. To obtain this information, the researcher conducted a literature study related to learning models of character education used for early childhood in the 21st century. The results of this study are expected to provide information for teachers and parents regarding the learning models of character education in the 21st century, so both teachers and parents may create such excellent generations.
