THE CONCEPT OF PLAY SAFETY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD IN OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND CUCUN YUNIANINGSIH, EUIS KURNIATI

Abstract
This study aims to describe the concept of safe playing for early childhood in outdoor playground. Safety is an important component in facilitating playing activities for early childhood. This study is conducted due to the importance of research related to child safety when playing in open playground. Children should be able to explore the open playground environment freely; therefore it has to be made certain in terms of safety and security of the rides used in the playground. The result of this study is expected to provide information regarding the importance of safe playing concept in outdoor playground, therefore the surveillance, maintenance, and periodic evaluation need to be done to keep the children safe.
