Abstract
Children’s world is about playing. They spend most of their time to play. Playing benefits children in numerous aspects, i.e., it will develop competencies and creativity as they can learn with enjoyment. Therefore, playing is vital to childrens growth. Unfortunately, not all parents can see this. One instance being parents who adopt “awe-awe”. Hence, this research focuses on the perspective of parents adopting “awe-awe” on playing activities for early childhood. The researcher used qualitative approach with case study design, interview as means of data collection, and grounded theory for analysis. The results are expected to provide information on the importance of playing activities for awe-awe practitioner family and also input in the interest of protection and fulfillment of childrens rights to play to achieve welfare.
