Abstract
This study aims to examine the use of digital technology in creating management innovations in the management of sports and recreation centers. This encourages the empowerment of resources in digital transformation. The limited number of face-to-face meetings during the Covid 19 pandemic led to an even higher utilization of digital transformation. To support virtual management-based innovation, the values of human resource education can be developed through sports and recreation content with cultural content that contains local wisdom. Sports and recreation management innovations with content of local wisdom can be broadcast vitally. Local wisdom is one of the riches that exist in an area. Local wisdom in the form of traditional games is something that is very supportive for sportsmanship towards world achievement. Traditional games have tremendous potential in every region in Indonesia. Indonesia is a country that is very rich in cultural diversity (local wisdom) which has been recognized by the international community. One of Indonesia^s potentials related to sports management is traditional games. Indonesian traditional games are generally related to sports elements. Sports innovation must pay attention to local culture, so that this program can be accepted by every citizen who lives in the area. The excellence of management innovation is reflected in the use of virtual technology with local wisdom as a strategy for developing sports and recreation management policies.
