Abstract
Learning in grade 1 SD (Elementary School) uses a thematic approach to provide meaningful experience for students and build interrelated concepts. The aim of this study is to develop a thematic-based physical education game for grade 1 SD on the theme of My Favorite. The research method used is the R&D method developed by Borg and Gall to the development of a prototype which has been validated by three validitators consisting of design experts, content / material experts and field practitioners. The product of this research is in the form of a module ^Thematic Based Physical Education Games for Grade 1 My Favorite Themes^ with 8 types of games in it which are adjusted to the theme and sub-theme. The results of the validation test by the expert obtained the results, namely in terms of design the percentage level of 93% was very good category, in terms of content / material the percentage level was 93% in the very good category and from the practitioner^s side received a percentage of 88.75% in the good category. It can be concluded that the thematic-based physical education game prototype is feasible or can be used
