Abstract
The one traditional games in Indonesia was gampar that have many benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gampar play on manipulative movement skills and the ability to estimate the distance of the steps while playing the game. Qualitative descriptive research methods were used in this study. Sampling is done by taking samples aged> 40 years, this is done because the sample in question is a person who has played this game. The number of samples is nine people. Data were collected by means of interviews. The result of this research is that manipulative skills, especially kicking and throwing targets, have increased. Conclution were the better coordination ability between the eyes-hands, eyes-feet increasing manipulative skill and estimated distance. recomendation for the organization (KOTI, FORMI and Government) was explore and socialization gampar games to public For the academic field, traditional games should improve many kind of benefit and must be done by researcher.
