Abstract
COVID-19 pandemic has forced the world to adapt with new normal in various aspects of life. In the context of sport championship, Indonesia has to postpone its annual National Sports Week (hereafter referred as to PON) in Papua from 2020 to 2021. Consequently, athletes were initially required to have training from home (TFH) due to the prevention of the virus transmission. However, they were gradually called back for training with tight health protocol. In relation to training, self-confidence and anxiety are two factors respectively influence athletes^ performance. This study sought to investigate on how self-confidence and anxiety level of West Java Judo athletes turned out post-TFH. The respondents of this descriptive study consisted of all West Java Judo athletes joining PELATDA, a provincial training program, preparing for the Papua PON. Having analyzed the data, this study found that the athletes^ self-confidence level was 86.3% and their anxiety level was 40.4%. This meant that their level of self-confidence was high and that of anxiety was moderate after their training from home. Therefore, it can be inferred that their training from home was effective as it did not decrease their anxiety significantly.
