Abstract
Physical Education Learning has the aim of developing aspects of physical fitness so that knowing the physical condition of students is mandatory. During this pandemic, technological literacy in the industrial era 4.0 is a must for the community, especially for those who are involved in the education sector. The availability of various hardware and software requires teachers to be active in creating and using it as a support for the implementation of distance learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of Physical Education teachers^ knowledge about the implementation of monitoring the physical condition of students in the learning process, the development of physical condition monitoring technology, and the use of media in Physical Education learning, the development of technology in the industrial era 4.0 during the pandemic. This research will be used as a preliminary background for the author to carry out further research on the development of monitoring tools for students^ physical conditions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed: (1) Monitoring the condition of students was always carried out during Physical Education learning according to the curriculum reference, (2) Knowledge of various developments in physical activity monitoring technology, some teachers did not know the technology to monitor physical activity and some knew. (3) The use of physical activity monitoring technology is not maximized and still uses visual, verbal and manual methods. In conclusion, it is necessary to do socialization about the development of appropriate technology to support physical education learning in the era of 4.0 and the pandemic. It is necessary to develop a means of monitoring student physical activity in a simple, digital and real time manner to support physical education learning remotely.
