Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Elevation Training Mask (ETM) with the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) method on physiological abilities based on aerobic capacity. This research is an experimental study with a 2x2 factorial design. the instrument used was the physical and anaerobic component examiner, with the number of participants involving 20 male futsal players. Data analysis used statistical calculations with the help of the SPSS version 25 application. The results showed that there was no improvement in the physiological abilities of male futsal players based on the use of ETM. This shows that there is no increase in the physiological abilities of male futsal players with the use of ETM. There is an increase in the physiological abilities of male futsal players based on aerobic capacity. There is no use of the use of ETM with aerobic capacity in improving the physiological performance of futsal players. This study also concluded that male futsal players with high aerobic capacity were more effective than those with low aerobic capacity, both for high aerobic capacity using ETM and without ETM compared to players with low aerobic capacity using ETM and without ETM. The implication of the research results shows that in physical training the training method must be adjusted to the aerobic capacity of the player by paying more attention to the principles of training and specificity, in this study it did not collect data on erythrocyte levels, hemoglobin levels in blood and lung capacity, so that it will monitor for future research. so it will be more comprehensive.
