Abstract

This study aims to develop a first aid training (basic) model which is specifically intended for Physical Education (Sports) teachers during teaching and learning activities in valid and reliable schools. This research is a type of Research and Development. The research was conducted using the ADDIE approach, which consists of- Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The sampling technique used was total sampling, namely 99 Physical Education (Sports) teachers from 99 officially registered schools in Medan Deli District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis with data collection methods using a questionnaire. The results of this research and development are in the form of a first aid training (basic) model for physical education (sports) teachers in schools. The first aid training (basic) model that has been developed is suitable for use based on validation by experts (expert judgment). This first aid training (basic) model is packaged in printed media (reference books) and audio-visual media (DVD tutorials) which can be used as a guide for physical education (sports) teachers to develop supporting skills in providing first aid to various types of disturbances and accidents. physical experiences of students during teaching and learning activities at school.
