Abstract
Tactical Periodization is principled that each exercise addresses the four moments that make up the game of football, becoming the principle and sub principle of the game. Thus, training is a mechanism that allows players to understand how to play that the coach wants to achieve. A football training is certainly a coach^s concept to create a more specific training model for a match. The distance travelled provides an overview of the mobility of the player, either with the ball or without the ball. The purpose of this study is to test the effect of tactical periodization on the front sector on the player^s mileage. The research method uses an experimental method with a post test-only nonequivalent control group design. Participants in this study are Indonesia^s elite league team consisting 7 players of elite league 1 team and 7 players of elite league 2 team using purposive sampling techniques. Instruments in this study is to find out a player^s mileage using GPS-based Catapult. The significance test using Independent Sample t-test. The results of the study concluded there is an influence of front sector tactical periodization on physiological response of the elite team of Indonesian football.
