Abstract
The fulfillment of sports facilities available in each region is uneven, the availability of sports facilities is influenced by the policies of each regional government. SPOrT (Integrated Sports Development Center) Jabar Arcamanik is a sports facility complex owned by the West Java regional government. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of local government policies in providing sports facilities. The case study method used in this study with semi-structured interviews, observation and documents as data collection instruments, as well as the participants involved are relevant department head and the manager of the sports facilities. The presence of sports facilities is the implementation of government policy to interpret the development plan both national and local, which provide the cultural heritage and the benefits to the community. Thus the construction of sports facilities can be realized when the desire and the understanding of policy makers to consider the budget expenditures that can be allocated so that the benefits resulting from the availability of sports facilities can be felt by the public.
