Developing of Gas Stoichiometry Learning Kit Based on Green Chemistry

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning KIT based on Green Chemistry on the Gas Stoichiometry Concept. KIT Based on Green Chemistry is a practical media with a display that uses environmentally friendly tools and materials. Making the media is done by using the design based research method in the form of analysis, design and development. This green chemistry-based KIT is used to determine the stoichiometric mole ratio of the oxidation of hydrogen gas by oxygen gas. After being tested, the developed KIT has succeeded in proving the concept of gas stychiometry based on Avogadro and Gay Lussac^s laws, for the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen gas. Based on this, KIT is considered to be able to be used as a practical medium for the concept of gas stoichiometry. (Approx. 129 words)
