Abstract

In this paper, we propose a better Yagi-Uda antenna design by implementing multi-driven elements and parasitic elements.
The critical parameter such as spacing between elements and length of the element agreed with the Yagi-Uda antenna, which is multiples of half of the wavelength correlated to the frequency used.
The performance of this antenna is affected by the addition of the two elements, which are driven elements and additional parasitic elements with any number of directors are analyzed. The number of active elements and the number of parasitic elements affect the gain and radiation pattern of the antenna.
By adding the number of active elements will significantly increase the gain of the antenna. It also occurs when adding the number of directors. However, there is a limit to the optimum number of added director elements to avoid a decrease in gain. Changing the shape of the active element can also increase the gain and radiation pattern of the antenna.
