Abstract

There was a failure in the tension bolts on the driving rubber tired gantry crane system. The purpose of this research
is to improve bolt design to meet safe and optimal criteria. First of all an investigation of the failure of the tension bolt
component, the loads received, then made 2D and 3D images using the software. Design improvement simulation
with stress analysis software. The simulation results obtained that the design meets the safety criteria.
