Abstract
Interesting information media in public places is the most important part to provide information to the recipients. One technology that is often used is running text. The purpose of this research is to design a running text P.10 and P.05 full color and to determine the characteristics of the current based on the selected background color. This research method is by looking at the characteristics of the flow generated on each selected background color on the running text that has been designed and comparing the results obtained. Based on the measurement results, it is found that running text P.10 and P.5 both one panel and 2 panels have the same required current character, the current increases based on the background color blue, green, red, purple, yellow, and white
