Abstract
When all access to campus was closed to students to break the Covid-19 transmission, student learning activities at the most of Indonesian universities were moved to their homes (study from home), including activities related to practicum. Fortunately, many simulators (online and offline types) can support virtual practicum activities while studying at home, especially courses related to basic electrical circuits. In this paper, we compare several electronic circuit simulators (i.e., EasyEda, Circuit Simulator Applet, DCAC Lab, Circuit Lab, PartSim, TinkerCad, Proteus, Circuit wizard, EWB, MultiSIM, PSIM, TINA Spice, and Yenka) to see if they can be applied in the online practicum or not. We only calculated and measured one electrical parameter for this study, which is ^voltage^. In this case, we used a voltage divider circuit. Two scenarios were applied to explore this circuit: looking for the output voltage with fixed R1 and R2 and determining the value of R1 and R2 to produce the desired output voltage. The simulator^s execution results (measured voltage) are then compared to the theoretical calculations results.
