Perceptions of pre service teacher of online learning during the COVID19 pandemic: a case chemistry learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of pre-service teachers of online learning (elearning) during the pandemic. This research uses descriptive quantitative. The sample consisted of 175 pre service teachers in Riau province who were selected using purposive technique sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire via google form. The data analysis was performed in quantitative percentages. The result of analysis shows that pre service teachers have a negative perception about online learning (elearning). They prefer face-to-face learning to online learning.
