Abstract
Technological engineering in learning in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic has become a bright spot in life towards society 5.0 in the Covid-19 Pandemic era. In this situation, STEM-based learning that combines knowledge and skills of each aspect of STEM is expected to be able to help students solve a problem comprehensively. However, so far there has been no research that has attempted to measure civic literacy in distance learning through technological engineering. . This study aims to examine the components of civic literacy in learning in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic. The research method used is a descriptive mix of quantitative and qualitative. The subjects of this study were 205 students in three universities, namely the University of Education of Indonesia, Ahmad Dahlan University and STKP Pasundan. The results of this study concluded that students have varied civic literacy competencies, besides that the relationship between STEM in technological engineering in the learning of the pandemic era strengthens in line with the characteristics of distance learning. This study provides recommendations to measure competence in learning in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic.
