Abstract
The increasing use of natural gas can be a problem in itself amid the possibility of a decline in the amount of natural gas supply in the future. This study aims to utilize biogas as an alternative energy source using vegetable waste and cow dung. Experiments were carried out by comparing the volume of gas produced by biogas containing cow dung and vegetable waste with biogas containing cow dung only. This study used 2 types of biogas, namely biogas containing only 4 kg of cow dung and biogas containing vegetable waste and cow dung, with the same mass of 4 kg, and using gallons as a digester. As a result, there is a comparison of the volume produced by the two biogases, namely biogas containing vegetable waste that produces a larger volume. It is hoped that this research can contribute as a solution to the energy crisis that is likely to threaten in the future.
