Abstract
Integrated biology learning with local wisdom could be meaningful for students because relevant with their environment. Students should be understand the way of Orang Rimba utilizing many plants for their life and protect biodiversity. This study aimed to develop learning materials based on local wisdom of Orang Rimba in Jambi Province. Method of this study was Research and Development. This study used ADDIE as design of learning materials development. The subjects of this study were biology teacher, senior high school students and the community of Orang Rimba. Location of this study was at Bukit Duabelas National Park and one of senior high school in Sarolangun. The instruments of this study were guidelines for interviews, field notes for observation and judgment paper for experts. The learning materials were validated by four experts that measure the eligibility of learning materials. The eligibility aspect was based on National Education Standards Agency. The percentage of content aspects were 83,20%, presentation aspects were 78,65%, contextual aspect were 81,94%, graphic aspects were 82,24%, language aspects were 82,29%. These results showed that the learning materials were eligible to used for student in biology learning and equipped with questions for improving environmental literacy and students^ conservation attitude.
