Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by Augmented Reality media to improve students critical thinking skills on the subject of sensory systems in online learning. The research was conducted on class XI MIPA students at SMAN 2 Sleman, Yogyakarta. Indicators of critical thinking skills used in the instrument according to Ennis. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group pre-test & post-test. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. The instrument for measuring critical thinking skills is a technical test in the form of a 10-item essay. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 software. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by Augmented Reality learning media was effective in improving students critical thinking skills with an N-gain value of 0.66 which was classified as moderate.
