Abstract

The blended learning environment is a solution for society 5.0 in the world of education. This urgency develops in student learning, where the harmonization of the blended learning environment with the learning process is important to be applied. The purpose of this study is as a basis for mapping the integrated blended learning environment in the field of science education, then this research describes a holistic view of the mapping of science education indicators in the blended learning environment, as well as possible developments that will occur in the future. A descriptive study was used in this study, the research subjects involved 15 main journals from the ^Google Scholar^ database, these journals have priority in terms of citation because they are used as references in many studies. Data collection was carried out through a coding scheme through the main instrument. The results obtained indicate that the involvement of students in teamwork (BLE-2) is very dominant, this has an effect on building student understanding, especially in science education. The implications of research trends in the blended learning environment provide opportunities for the development of instructional technologies and learning tools in each scientific discipline, where the directions have clear goals and standards. In line with this, in the era of society 5.0, there is more emphasis on developing soft skills and transversal skills, to fulfill one^s life skills in the future.
