Abstract
Banana peel waste is one of the many wastes produced that is estimated as much as 2.09 million tons per year in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to reduce the pollution of banana peel waste and battery waste in Indonesia by developing bio-batteries from pisan leather. The method used is to use trials of several types of banana peel waste to obtain the highest electrolytes. The results obtained that banana skin waste kepok has the highest electrolyte content among banana skins in the trials, with a voltage value of 2.72 out of 20 grams of banana skin kapok. The results of the study are expected to be one of the alternatives to renewable energy that is environmentally friendly (biodegradable) and has an economical price.
