Black Journey - The Mobile Apps Development of Physics Educational Game

Abstract

This study produces educational physics games for mobile apps based on the journey of Joseph Black, scientists in the thermodynamics field. These apps aim to support the medium for learning physics. The research used Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach. The steps are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This physics educational game contains a puzzle-type game that consists of 5 missions. The award that players will receive is in the form of scores and facts about the life story of the physicist Joseph Black. The product assessment by media experts has 90% and by material experts is 97.9%. The results obtained are in the very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that The Black Journey apps are suitable for use as a learning companion media.
